Fair?” “Fair.” “What Ms. Royce and Ms. Chenier told me was that Jimmy Thunder’s got himself a case of the financial shorts.” “You trust them?” “Not at all. But then Art Gilbert, the landscaper, tells me he overhears this character Didi DuPree talking to Thunder about money laundering. This I believe. Because what reason would Gilbert have to lie about it?”
